I woke up at eight in the morning because I had to go to work; I work in the mornings.
I asked for two or three hours off because I had an activity for my college. We have an event this Saturday so we had to attend a workshop where they explained what we have to do. Experts from different countries came; it was interesting. I left around eleven or twelve.
Then, my friends and I went to get some ice cream. Here in my city, Sucre, there’s a well-known place called Vaca Fría – it’s delicious. We stayed there for a while, even though I wanted to eat tucumanas.
You probably don’t know about them but it’s a food that’s eaten at midday on the streets in Sucre. We also have salteñas.
Delicious salteñas.
Sucre is a very small city; to give you an idea, you can find everything in the city center a few steps away. But anyway, the point is that we ate.
I went to my job; a little store in the mornings. Then, at two, I went to my university. I’m studying Commercial Engineering.
My classes are in the afternoon. It was a very exhausting day because we had intense material.
At night we had another workshop, but it was for marketing – my major is very focused on digital marketing. So, I attended another workshop related to entrepreneurship for university students or something like that.
I stayed there until eight in the evening and then came home.
Then, I had English classes. Every night I take English classes through a school here in my city. I got very frustrated because I didn’t understand a lot. We’re covering more advanced grammar; it’s hard for me to understand and tomorrow I have a big exam focusing on ‘people skills.’
I don’t even know these structures in Spanish, like the present perfect, present continuous, present progressive. I mean, I get it but still, it kind of confuses me.
After that, I went to sleep.
