“Yesterday for me started early in the morning, at 6:45, when I had to get up.”
“On this occasion, I’m in a different city than the city where I usually live, which is Mexico City. Right now, I’m in the city of Torreón, Coahuila, which is where my family lives because they are natives to this area. This time I come for work and also to visit my mom and my sister because the circumstances aligned.”
“I got up at 6:45 and went to shower. Since I had to give a talk to some hair stylists, about a method for curly hair with coating products, I had to put on makeup. After putting on makeup, I had to fix up my hair.”
“After approximately two hours, my boss picked me up and we went to where the workshop was going to be, the talk I was going to give. We went to buy gorditas, which is a very typical food of this region.”
[With respect to the gorditas] “Which are tortillas, whether made from corn or flour, stuffed with some fillings. In this case, I really like potatoes with green chili, I also like the cheese and slices of poblano chili.”
“I ordered one of each, and on the way, we also stopped at a convenience store and bought something to drink.”
“After that, since I didn’t have much time left, we ate that breakfast on the way as we arrived at the place where we were going to hold our workshop.”
“We got off, greeted the people who were going to receive us to lend us the place for our workshop. I connected the computer, tested the image, and tested the audio.”
“I arranged my things on the cart where items are placed in the salons, and then we waited for the participants to arrive. Obviously, the place already had the chairs and the coffee table arranged, where there were also bread, cookies, water, and all the necessary items so that the people that were there could have access to them during the break.”
“After that, the people who were going to participate arrived, and on this occasion, we forgot to have a model, so we asked one of the participants to be a model for our workshop.”
“I gave this workshop – I’m the one who developed the techniques we talked about – and then the workshop lasted approximately two hours. Honestly, it was very good.”
“After that, we gathered all our things, left from there, and on this occasion my boss invited me to eat at a restaurant, a seafood place where she ordered salmon with mashed potatoes and some vegetables on the side. They brought me a ceviche, which is fish cooked with lemon. It had ____ and a mango sauce. We both ordered a beer, which here we call it ‘chelada’ because it has lemon and salt. To finish, we drank a coffee.”
“Leaving there, I came – well, they brought me – back to my mom’s house again, and I stayed here all afternoon. I was responding to some work messages and some questions that clients asked me through WhatsApp.”
